Stan Getz brings Dear Old Stockholm from Sweden, and Louis Armstrong is the first to pick up on Just a Gigolo, an Austrian song written by an Italian. In the Paris of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, the trumpeter discovered La Vie en Rose and Sidney Bechet nicely adapted the French Au clair de la lune. You might say C’est si bon!
