Rare recordings from drummer and bandleader Ben Pollack, one of the earliest and most prolific exponents of syncopated dance music and hot jazz. His outfits recorded under various names and were packed with some of the finest musicians of the day, many of whom, including Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman, became stars in the swing era.
