Jasmine BSIN03665541 Hackett, Bobby - Live in Milwaukee 1951 Bobby HACKETT - Backstage with Bobby Hackett: Live In Milwaukee, 1951.
Trumpeter Bobby Hackett is a man of many parts. One of those parts was playing in the war-time band of Glenn Miller, another leading his own Big Band. In subsequent years, Hackett has become renowned as a mainstream Jazz musician admired by all. It is in this latter role that JASMINE is proud to release a previously unissued small group performance with Hackett receiving sterling support from Vic Dickenson on trombone and Gene Sedric on clarinet. The sound quality is superb and don't be deceived by the fourteen tracks, the CD runs for a respectable 56 minutes.
