Am 18. Juni veröffentlichen Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band einen Konzertfilm mit dem Titel "London Calling: Live In Hyde Park" auf Blu-Ray und Doppel-DVD.
Die HD-Aufnahmen entstanden am 28. Juni 2009 und enthalten 27 Live-Stücke.
Der Film hat eine Laufzeit von 172 Minuten und dokumentiert die gesamte Performance, die bei Tageslicht begann und sich über einen fantastischen Sonnenuntergang bis in die Nacht erstreckte. "Live In Hyde Park" zeigt sowohl die Perspektive des Geschehens auf der Bühne als auch die Stimmung inmitten der riesigen Festival-Crowd.
Springsteen-Fans können erleben, wir der Musiker seine E Street Band während des Konzerts spontan neue Anweisungen gibt und den Verlauf der Show nach Bedarf ändert. Grammy- und Emmy-Preisträger Thom Zimny als Produzent und Chris Hilson als Regisseur (beide seit über einem Jahrzehnt in Springsteens Video-Team) betreuten die Entstehung des Films.
Als Bonusmaterial enthält "London Calling: Live In Hyde Park" einen atemberaubenden Mitschnitt des Klassikers "The River" vom Glastonbury-Festival vom 27. Juni und das komplette Musikvideo zu "Wrecking Ball", das im Giants Stadium in New Jersey gefilmt wurde.
